Member Policies

Initiation Fees

The initiation fee is $50 for individuals, $75 for household couples and $100 for families of 3 or more. If a member cancels and rejoins, another initiation fee will apply at that time.

Suspension Policy

Thrive Wellness offers membership suspensions for a $10 per month administrative fee. There will a complimentary one-month suspension per calendar year offered to accommodate vacations, medical or personal needs. There is a minimum suspension length of one month. Suspensions are not available for the Thrive Weight Management program.

Cancellation Policy

Although we hope that you will always want to Thrive, we understand that sometimes things change in life and you may need to cancel your membership. We require all cancellation requests to be in writing. You can stop by and sign a cancellation request form, mail a written request, complete the form on the "contact us" tab, email to service@ThriveGP.com, or fax a request to 541-476-1685. While we do our best to accommodate your individual needs, please understand that no phone calls or verbal requests will be accepted to cancel a membership. We are happy to acknowledge receipt of your cancellation request via email, fax, phone or in writing. Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to your next payment date for your autopay to be stopped. Requests received with less than 7-days notice will apply at the end of the following billing month.

Lost and Found

Lost and found items will be held for two weeks and if not claimed by the end of that period will be discarded or donated to an appropriate charity.

WIFI

Thrive Wellness offers free WIFI for members while onsite. Please ask the trainer on duty for the password to login.

Guest Fees

Guests may use the Thrive Wellness facility for a fee of $8 per day.

We offer out-of-town visitors and non-local guests of Thrive members a 10% discount for 4 or more guest passes. Guest passes allow visitors use of all of the facilities or participation in classes that are included in the Thrive Membership. Guest passes include general assistance but do not include training by personal trainers on the monthly workout program. Of course, we're happy to answer questions and make sure our guests are exercising safely. Thrive members (only) may purchase a package of 10 guest visits for $60 to use for their non-local guests and family members. Don't skip your workouts because you have company...bring 'em along so they can Thrive, too!

Your Account Information

Members can login to their account information, payment history, appointment schedule and more. CLICK HERE to go to the WellnessLiving site and follow the prompts to register to access your personal information. Don't hesitate to give us a call or email us if you need help or have any questions.

Safety policy

Our aim at Thrive Wellness is to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our members at all times. Therefore, we have established a policy concerning the potential impairment by any legal or illegal substances by any member or guest using the facility. These include, but are not limited to, prescription medication, over-the-counter medications, alcohol, marijuana, or any other legal or illegal substance.

If a staff member suspects a member to be impaired via any means of legal or illegal substance(s), the member will be asked to leave. Unwillingness to comply or multiple offenses may result in revocation of membership. Our staff maintains the right to use their judgment in these instances. Anyone asked to leave under suspicion of impairment is welcome back as early as the next day.

Hello Thrive Wellness family,

As you might imagine, we continue to follow the COVID-19 situation closely, as new information develops each day. Our priority continues to be the health, safety, and well-being of everyone connected to our program.

Where we are now

The unexpected situation regarding the coronavirus outbreak, without much notice or time to prepare was, and still is, a shock. Only a couple of weeks ago, it would have been almost impossible to comprehend the challenges we all currently face.

At this time, we currently remain OPEN to our members following the guidelines of the Oregon Health Authority (fewer than 25 people at a time, keeping a safe distance, etc.). We don’t know how and when things may change so we will keep you updated online at www.ThriveGP.com.

Even though we could not have predicted all this, we will proceed in the same manner that we have built Thrive Wellness over the past decade. We will continue to be accommodating, honest, fulfill our commitments, adapt, and provide support for our member and employees.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support and compassion; it has meant more than we can adequately express.


What we're working on

As we continue to learn more about the extent of the impact of COVID-19 on everyone, I have been brainstorming, looking for creative ideas that will allow us to fulfill our commitments, be generous with the members who choose to continue to support us, and make it feasible to provide as much as possible for our team of trainers during this unsettling time.

How does it work?

Each member who chooses to hang tight with Thrive Wellness during any future closure will benefit, and your support provides Thrive Wellness time to adjust to our new reality. Of course, no one wants Thrive Wellness to temporarily close, but if that happens there will be a reward for you!

If you keep your membership active, you will have the following benefits:

  • Continued gym access following the Oregon Health Authority guidelines of fewer than 25 people
  • Optional 24-hour access (key fobs are available at 50% off)
  • Fitness On Demand classes in the Thrive upstairs studio and now online at home
  • Live classes, subject to availability
  • More personal attention than you may even want 😉

In addition, if Thrive Wellness is required to close, you will receive a gift card valued at one and one-half times the dues charged during the closure. After we re-open, simply contact me and request your gift card. It’s that simple. For example, if your membership remains active and you pay $49/month and we are forced to close for one month, you’ll receive a gift card for $73.50! ($49 x 1.5 = $73.50 = better interest than the banks!) That’s our way of thanking you for supporting us during this turbulent time.

Membership Suspensions

If needed, you can suspend your membership temporarily. As you may know, Thrive Wellness offers a one-month complimentary suspension per calendar year. However, if you need to suspend your membership due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are waiving the suspension fee for 2 months or until we re-open, whichever is longer.


Weight loss clients can request an extension to their program for the time we are closed.

The bottom line

We understand this is an anxious time for our members, trainers and community. We respect that everyone must make decisions that fit their needs.

I personally also believe that loyalty to those who support local small businesses during challenging times should be rewarded and extending gift cards for our service and products is the best incentive I can offer.
